Jekyll Island Museum Archives
The Jekyll Island Museum Archive manages a collection of approximately 3,000 historic books and reference materials, 20,000 archival documents, 10,000 artifacts, and 20,000 images. By managing these collections, the Archive works with our larger Historic Resources department to support its mission. Historic Resources strives to reveal to each visitor Jekyll Island's intricate stories and global connections through our sites, structures, exhibits, and collections, bringing the entire island's unique past together with its dynamic present and future.
