Jekyll Island Museum Archives

Founded in 1954, the Jekyll Island Museum is the steward of Jekyll Island's past. The mission of the Jekyll Island Museum is to protect all of the cultural resources of Jekyll Island and to preserve them to the highest standards possible, allowing for an engaging and enriching experience for the citizens of Georgia and beyond. The Jekyll Island Museum manages a collection of approximately 3,000 historic books and reference materials, 5,000 archival documents, 10,000 artifacts, and 20,000 images.
